endanger birds

Birds are among the best studied organisms, but there has been much controversy over their origins and classification. With the recent discovery of feathered fossils in China, it is now generally agreed that birds are descended directly from – or actually may be - a group of theropod dinosaurs that evolved during the Mesozoic Era. Birds exhibit many typically reptilian characteristics, including skeletal and blood-cell structures, scales, and embryonic development patterns. Some authorities consider birds to be within the reptilian subclass Diapsida (along with tuataras, lizards and snakes, and crocodilians); others elevate them to their own class, Aves. Approximately 9,700 extant bird species are recognized worldwide; as with other taxonomic groups, this represents a small fraction of the number of species that have existed over time. There are 23 orders falling into two infraclasses. They can be found nearly everywhere on Earth and range in size from the Bee Hummingbird of Cuba (2 g) to the Ostrich of Africa (160 kg). Even the Ostrich is dwarfed by the long-extinct dromornithids of Australia (perhaps 500 kg).

Birds inhabit nearly every conceivable habitat on the earth’s surface and, because of their mobility, have colonized even the most-remote islands. Birds have been recorded flying up to an altitude of over 11,000 m and diving to a depth of 540 m. these birds are endanger big time. they use these birds for hair wear and just feathers to decorate and this is wrong super wrong they should not be treated this way.

endanger tigers

Tigers have been hunted heavily by humans over the past few years. The tiger population in the Indian sub-continent has declined seriously in the past fifty years. Nepal has only two hundred tigers, while India has about four thousand, a serious decline from the past figures. China and Korea are the biggest criminals as far as tiger poaching is concerned. In the nineteen hundreds, the entire tiger population was more than one lakh. However, today the global tiger population is less than ten thousand animals. Tigers have been hunted by humans since time incarnate. In ancient times, some tigers were also tamed and kept as pets by royalty. Indeed, a tamed cat would add much color to the royal nature of people at that time.Tiger hunting was a sport played by royalty in ancient times. Also, in many Asian countries, there many superstitions regarding tigers. It doesn't matter whether wearing a talisman made out of a tiger's claw has any supernatural powers or not - a tiger will lose his life so that someone makes money out of it.
as you can see these animals are being hunted and killed by us humans.
these mammals are the cutiest thing and we human killed them for coats, belts and lets just say things we use.
these animals are made to be free and doing there lifes not use humans
killing them just because we want to or because the clothing,.
we can still look good without the skin of a animal.

endanger giraffes

At least six distinct species of giraffe, the world's tallest land animal, may be in existence and some of them are critically endangered, scientists in the United States and Kenya have found.
It had previously been thought that there was only one species of giraffe ranging across Africa's golden savannahs.
"Some of these giraffe populations number only a few hundred individuals and need immediate protection," said the study's lead author, geneticist David Brown of the U.S.-based Wildlife Conservation Society.

they use these giraffe to peel there skin off and use them as clothing, purses, and some africans do eat giraffes. these animals are tall mammals that just grows eat grass and it doesn't boder anyone, what i don't understand is that we scared at some animals because they try to hurt us but they have a reason why because we killing them for dum reason, and if i was a animal i will love to bite a human because i'm going to let some human take away my life for dum reason or just for them.

snakes are endanger to?

The snake population is speedily being destroyed to make way for human dwellings or industry. They are also being driven out of their habitat by the introduction of exotic animal species, and are getting contaminated by pesticides too. In the United States, more than half of the snake species currently listed as endangered have declined as a direct result of habitat destruction.

Why should I be aware of this?
--Snakes play a critical role in our environment, because of their role in the food chain.
--Different types of snakes perform different roles.
--Numerous snakes are top level predators, for example, a single rat snake lands up eating over a 100 rats annually.
--They perform a crucial function in controlling insect and other invertebrate populations.
--Snakes in turn are food for other predators, such as foxes and hawks, and so discharge an important role in linking higher and lower feeding levels.

snakes are used in alot of things they use them for purses and even clothes and snakes aremeet to be killed they are really good for the community as you can see above this you see why they good and this might boring you but this happens alot in this world expecially in australia.

Golden Lion Tamarin's are in danger?

The golden lion tamarin is classified as a member of the order Primates and is a member of the family Callitrichidae. The golden lion tamarin's head and body are about one foot long, and the tail is slightly shorter. It weighs about one and a half pounds. The golden lion tamarin is classified as a critically endangered species due to the fact that it only exists in severely fragmented subpopulations consisting of no more than fifty mature tamarins each, and that there has been continuing decline in the golden lion tamarin population. The golden lion tamarin is one of the most endangered of all mammals. These mammals are endanger becausethere are only a few of them left and not just that people kill them because " bad behavior" but when i read in the info(yahoo) they are completly harmness only if there predator gets close like us. i don't understand why they do this when they can get materials from other things these creatures are pretty they are not meant to be hurt.
